Gateway of the Gods Babylon

Present day Al Hilla / Babil in Babil Provice, Iraq Babylon was a city state of ancient Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia literally means “Between Rivers”, which describes the location of Babylon between the Tigris and the Euphrates River.

I was fortunate enough to have gotten an opportunity to step foot in such a historical place. I can’t begin to justify the history of this ancient city on this website, it would take several pages, so I urge you to read up on this magnificent city.
