Weekly Challenge: Skyscrapers

Weekly Challenge: Skyscrapers! I have challenged Emily J. Santos over @ A Day in Durham (ADID), so don’t forget to visit her website this week to see what she’s going to post for the weekly challenge. We are going to post one photo each week with an agreed theme in an effort to improve our photography, workflow and post processing. This photo is almost straight out of the camera with very little post-processing. The only post-process done to this photo is the stitching of the three photographs to create this skyline panorama.

This photo was taken at the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, CA. Gorgeous city during the day with incredible weather and very lively at night.

San Diego Skyline

On a lighter note…

My work asked if I wanted to go San Diego for a week and I naturally jump on every opportunity when free travel is involved. I took this pano last night of the Gaslamp Quarter and I also did some time-lapse photography that I hope will come out great. The weather here is colder than expected, although the temperature is suppose to be close to 70F on Friday which I have that day off.
